How PhoenixLog handles your writing
PhoenixLog does not access, read, or review the content of your writing except when:
- You explicitly request support and grant permission to view specific content;
- We are investigating a suspected violation of our Terms of Service; or
- We are legally compelled to do so (e.g., by subpoena or court order).
Your writing is encrypted at rest in our database. We do not use your writing to train AI models, for marketing purposes, or share it with third parties.
What information we store
To provide the service, we store:
- Your email address (for magic-link sign-in)
- Your display name and daily writing goal
- Your projects, including titles, genres, word count targets, and encrypted content
- Your writing session history (dates and word counts), used to power your streak and activity heatmap
Account deletion
You can delete individual projects at any time from within the app. If you'd like your entire account and all associated data deleted, email us at phoenixlog829@gmail.com and we will remove it.
